To mitigate this, e-commerce navigation elements need to be prominent and extremely organized. Choose obvious category and subcategory names, sticking to as few as possible to avoid confusion and choice paralysis.
Your navigation should always be in the same place, using the same colors and fonts on all pages of your e-commerce site.
Make searching easy
Shoppers frequently use search to find exactly what they’re looking for. Therefore, the search bar should be one of the easiest things to find. Make sure it’s placed in the header on all site pages.
