Workers' Compensation Insurance

We’ve partnered with Next Insurance to provide pay as you go workers’ compensation to Square Payroll employers.

Set Up Workers’ Compensation Insurance with Next Insurance

Request a Quote

You can get a quote from Next Insurance, Square Payroll’s partner for workers’ compensation insurance, by following these steps:

  1. Visit Benefits in the Payroll section of your online Square Dashboard.

  2. Select Worker’s Compensation Insurance then click Get Started.

  3. Enter in information about your business and your employees.

  4. Next Insurance will upload a policy for you to sign in your Square dashboard within 1-2 business days.

Connect Square Payroll to Next Insurance

After you have signed your insurance contract with Next Insurance, your policy will start on the policy effective date. Square will automatically send your payroll information to Next Insurance for each payroll run that is processed.

Next Insurance will bill you for your insurance premium within one week of your pay date. You can see your invoice history in the Next Insurance card on the Benefits tab of your Payroll dashboard.
