Set Up Workers’ Compensation Insurance with AP Intego and Connect to Square Payroll

Request a Quote

You can get a quote from AP Intego, Square Payroll’s partner for workers’ compensation insurance, by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your Square dashboard and go to Payroll Settings.
  2. Select Worker’s Compensation Insurance, then click Get Started.
  3. Enter your name, phone number, email, business name, and EIN to include in your request.
  4. AP Intego will contact you within one business day to gather information on your business and to provide you with a quote.

Connect Square Payroll to AP Intego

After you have signed your insurance contract with AP Intego, go to your Worker’s Compensation Insurance Settings and click Connect to give us permission to share your company, employee and payroll details with AP Intego. If you do not provide authorization through your Settings, we will not be able to send your payroll details to AP Intego. You can also choose to disconnect your policy at anytime through your Payroll Settings.

AP Intego will bill you for your insurance premium within one week of your pay date. Log in to AP Intego to manage your billing preferences.

If you already have an AP Intego pay as you go workers’ compensation insurance contract that is administered by another payroll provider, contact AP Intego to change the payroll company of record to Square Payroll.
