Edward Ramirez: We've grown tremendously. This year. Our inventory flies off the shelves. We sell approximately over 5,000 items per month and Square allows us to keep track of all of that. We use Square Loans to help enable our growth. We're able to buy inventory in larger quantities from the manufacturers, which allows us to get a bigger discount, which then allows us to have one of the best prices available to our customers. On the other side of that, it also allows us to lease a new space or finish out construction on a new location.
The ease of use with the Square Loans is you don't have to go to a bank. Our Square Online website was the introduction to our Fort Worth Barber Supply business. We were able to create a buzz about our business, start selling items, processing orders, getting our shipping figured out before we actually had our storefront. They can purchase online and they can schedule a same day delivery. We can just click a couple buttons and labels printed and off to UPS. It's ready to go.
What we love about offering Afterpay to our customers, it allows them to manage their cash flow better. Afterpay allows you to break up your total into four payments, and it's really helped us because the barbers can now make larger purchases and then the customer has six weeks to pay it off. We get paid right away. They get to base it out and everyone wins.
We would not be able to have grown this quickly without Square. It's nice not to have to worry about the backend or the sales running. All you have to worry about is taking care of your customer.
