Allowing customers to split the check just got a whole lot easier. You can now split items from a single bill into multiple tickets. Access Split Ticket from the Open Tickets action bar at the top of the cart within Register. [Learn more].
Employee filters for open tickets and tip settlement
Reduce employee errors and speed up checkout by restricting employees to only view tickets and settle tips on payments assigned to them. Control employee access via the Manage All Open Tickets permission. Learn more.
Quick ticket transfer for employees
For more accurate sales and tip reporting, you can now transfer ownership of a ticket. Employees must have the Manage All Open Tickets permission to transfer tickets. Learn more.
Reduce printer waste at your restaurant
Now you no longer have to reprint authorization slips (where customers sign and add a tip) to reflect the list of items for that sale. It’s just one of the ways Square can help you reduce waste at your business. Learn more.

Your Customer Directory just got bigger
In response to your feedback, Square has expanded the audiences that we automatically add to your directory. Now, more customers will appear in your Reachable group, which also means more customers for you to email. View your directory.
