Hank Greg: We are told all the time. It's just the kind of place where you fall in love. It's a pretty magical spot.
I'm Hank Greg and I'm currently working as the general manager at the market at Grelen. When my dad was growing up, his grandmother gave him a handful of seeds, and ever since then he's just had this passion for plants and growing something from seed.
He purchased one acre and it's now grown to a thousand acres. Then we just completely opened the property to the public so that people could see the side of Virginia. They don't think anyone was really able to see previously.
The opportunities with Grelen are pretty much endless. We opened a new location in Downtown Orange that now offers a more boutique gift shop experience. So I think the desire to help build Orange comes from the reaction that we've seen from the public and what they've suggested. That's just continued to help us grow.
There's no business without customers seeing all these different people come to one location. It's just such a unique experience that started from just a seed, literally.
