Magpie and Thorne was part of an imagination, dream, wonderland. A combination of a retail shop mixed with almost a cinematic experience. Square helps me manage my inventory, which is actually over 5,000 items.
Square for Retail has made it really easy for me with my day-to-day operations in that I can easily upload photographs straight from my phone or the iPad right into my Square POS. One area that has been really essential for us is in the greenhouse. We often will have new employees who do not know every plant. In Square, we're able to take photographs of the plants and write the descriptions.
One of the favorite things to do for all of us is to really connect with our customers, whether it be in the greenhouse or in the gift shop, and to find them that perfect thing. Plants or gifts. That's one of our favorite things we love to do. Square for Retail made it really easy for me to figure out how to be a brick and mortar shop owner in a very short amount of time.
