Account Linking Terms
These Account Linking Terms (“Terms”) constitute a legal agreement between the business identified in your Square Account (“Seller” and together with you, “you” or “your”) and Square, Inc. (“Square,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By submitting your business bank account username and password, you agree to these Terms. You represent and warrant that: (a) you are at least eighteen (18) years of age and are authorized to agree to these Terms on the Seller’s behalf; (b) the Seller agrees to these Terms; (c) the information you submit is accurate and complete; and (d) you are linking a business bank account.
Account Linking Service. Your business bank account information helps us determine if your business has sufficient sales to qualify for Square Capital. When you enter your business bank account username and password, you authorize access to your bank statements and other financial information associated with that account (“Account Linking Service”). To use the Account Linking Service, you must provide your bank account username and password for the primary bank account associated with your business. We share your bank account username and password with a third party service provider (“Third Party Service Provider”) that provides us with information about that bank account, such as deposits and withdrawals, credit lines, etc. in order to better understand your business. To help us determine your eligibility for a cash advance from Square Capital, we may review financial information associated with your business bank account, information on file with us, your Square Account (as defined below), and publicly available information. We may decline to offer Square Capital at any time prior to your receipt of funds if it is determined that you do not meet our eligibility requirements.
Square Account. You must have an account with Square (a “Square Account”) and have agreed to our Seller Agreement and E-Sign Consent policy to use the Account Linking Service. The Account Linking Service is one of the “Services” governed by the Seller Agreement. The Third Party Service Provider is a “Service Provider” under the Seller Agreement. Please review the terms of the Seller Agreement as they are incorporated herein by this reference.
