Does Square Terminal need Wi-Fi?
Square Terminal requires an internet connection. Connect your credit card machine to the internet through a Wi-Fi network or Ethernet connection. No Wi-Fi? You can use offline payments1 to keep taking payments for up to 24 hours. Additional terms apply.
