Referral Terms of Service

To qualify for a reward, your referee must be new to Square, must activate a Square account using your unique link, and must process a payment for a minimum of $1. If you qualify, you will receive your choice of either: free processing on up to $1,000 in card transactions for the next 180 days or $20 off select Square hardware when you purchase from Square’s Hardware Shop. This is a limited time offer. It is not transferable. Other promotional offers may be available from time to time, subject to their own terms and conditions.

Square will notify you to select a reward. If you take your first payment, or if no reward is selected within 30 days after a new seller activates their account using your referral code, free credit processing on up to $1,000 in card transactions for the next 180 days will be automatically applied to your account. Waived processing fees are reimbursed to your account on each deposit. If you select the option to get $20 off select Square hardware when you purchase from Square’s Hardware Shop, only one $20 discount code may be used per order and discount codes may only be used once. If the amount of the discount exceeds the total cost of the select Square hardware, you will not receive the difference as Square will only apply the discount until the cost of the select Square hardware is $0.
