Appointments on Square Terminal
Harness all the capabilities of the Square Appointments mobile application with a powerful and portable POS device. Save counter space and securely checkout Appointments at your business now on Square Terminal.
With Appointments on Square Terminal you can:
Run your business, from bookings to checkout in a single workflow.
Attribute sales and commission to corresponding staff members.
Trust in consistent and reliable reporting of your bookings, payments, and staff performance.
To get started, simply sign out of your T2, sign back in, and select Square Appointments when prompted.
Update Your Terminal
Start using Appointments on Square Terminal by first updating your software to the latest version.
If opening a new Square Terminal out of the box, tap the back arrow twice to get to the Sign In screen.
If already logged in to a Square Terminal, you’ll first need to sign out of the device. Tap ≡ More, scroll down and tap Sign out, then confirm by tapping Sign Out again.
Note: Depending on your current version, you may need to update twice.
Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet to process payments.
Load receipt paper to the printer to print receipts.
Connect accessories to Square Terminal including barcode scanners and cash drawers.
Swipe payments on the mag stripe reader built in on the right side of the Terminal. Dip chip cards in the bottom slot, and tap contactless payments on the screen.
Create, edit, and checkout Appointments from the Calendar and Checkout tabs.
Configure Appointments Settings including Online Booking, Client notifications, and Payments and Cancellations by selecting the menu on Square Terminal and Appointments
