We’re (perhaps optimistically) looking down the horizon to warmer weather, which, for many sellers, will mean switching up your offerings (bye-bye hot chocolate, hello ice cream?). To help you step into spring, we just made it a lot easier to manage your items on an Android device.
Now when you log in to your Square account on an Android device, you’ll see a dedicated items section that serves as your command center for adding, deleting, and modifying (chocolate sauce with that?) items.
From here, you can also add other offerings like gift cards and discounts — both things to consider as Mother’s Day draws near.
Here’s what else you can now do:
- Create a modifier set — side dishes, for example — without having to first create an item.
- Assign multiple items to a category — main dishes or facials, for example — in bulk.
- Get powerful insights and reporting for your newly created items, modifiers, discounts, categories, and gift cards.
To give the new items management features a whirl, open Square Point of Sale on your Android device, tap the menu icon, and select Items. Here’s to a fruitful spring.
