Square Shop Guide

Visit the Square Shop to find everything you need to help grow your business with Square. From Square Readers to hardware kits, we offer a variety of point of sale, hardware, and accessories to suit your business.  

Order Hardware

When you sign up for Square, you can order Square hardware directly from Square Shop and it will be delivered to you in 2 to 7 business days with free shipping. You can also opt in for paid express shipping to arrive within 1 to 4 business days.

To place an order via Square Shop:

  1. Log in to your Square Account and visit the Square Shop.

  2. Select your hardware, accessories, or hardware kit > click Add to cart.

  3. To add more items to your cart, click Continue shopping or if you're ready to review your cart, click Continue to checkout.

  4. Check the items and quantities in your cart and review your order total, including GST. Add a promo code (if applicable).

  5. Click Check out.

  6. Add shipping information: Enter your full name, email, phone number and street address.
    Note: You will need to sign for your shipment upon delivery. If you can’t be at home during delivery hours, have your order shipped to a business or work address.

  7. Click Continue > Continue with this address.

  8. Select your payment method: pay in full today or pay in 3, 6, or 12 interest-free instalments (subject to approval).
    Note: Instalment options will only appear if you are logged in to your Square Account.

  9. Continue to billing or financing application.

For Billing Options

Enter your card details, including full card number, CVV, and expiration date. Click Complete your order.

For Financing Applications

Enter your date of birth, gender (optional), and mailing address. Tick the box once you have reviewed and agreed to the terms, and click Submit and Continue.

Once you have been approved, click Return to Checkout and follow the payment prompts. Click Accept your plan.

If your application has been declined, you’ll receive an email notification.

You will receive an email with your order information, and another email with your tracking details once your order has been shipped.

Important to note

  • You will need to sign for your shipment upon delivery. If you can’t be at home during delivery hours, have your order shipped to a business or work address.

    • We are unable to ship orders to either PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

  • Orders processed by 1:00 pm AEST ship on the same day on weekdays only.

  • Standard shipping is free.

  • Optional express shipping is available — costs are calculated at checkout and are non-refundable. Express shipping may take 1 to 4 days.

  • Shipping methods depend on hardware availability.

  • Delivery to remote areas of WA and NT may take longer.

  • Check for hardware and device compatibility before purchasing from Square Shop.

Hardware Compatibility 

Depending on the device you are using for your Point of Sale, you’ll have different hardware options. Explore third-party hardware accessories that are compatible with Square, such as receipt or kitchen printers, cash drawers, or barcode scanners.

Hardware Instalments

Instalments for Square hardware is a flexible payment option that allows you to purchase the Square hardware you need while paying for it in monthly instalments. All plans are interest-free. First payment will be due at checkout. Available plan lengths vary from 3, 6, and/or 12 instalments based on purchase amount. All plans are subject to credit approval.

Eligibility: If your cart subtotal is $59 to $5,000, you’ll see an option to pay in instalments. Orders under $59 (before taxes) aren’t eligible.

Square Hardware Limited Warranty and Returns

Any piece of Square hardware can be returned directly to the original point of purchase, whether that be the Square Shop in accordance to Square Hardware limited warranty and returns.

Custom Pricing

If your annual sales exceed $250,000 and have an average ticket size of over $15, contact our Sales team to see if we can help find the right hardware pricing for you. You may be eligible for custom pricing.

How do I know which product to buy for my business?

What card types are accepted with Square Shop?

We accept debit and credit cards with the Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB logo or debit cards with the eftpos logo.

I just placed an order, can I download an invoice?

You are emailed a copy of your order information including a copy of the receipt. If you need a PDF, you can visit the Square Shop:

  1. Click My Account > Order Status.
  2. Click on the order in question.
  3. Click Download invoice as PDF.

What if I need to return the hardware?

Free 30-day returns on all hardware. Complete the Return Form with the original Order Number and email address associated with your order. Note: iPads must be unopened to be eligible for return.
