MAX'S MOM: I'm Max's mom he always wanted to be an entrepreneur. He really tried to convince my husband and I that instead of paying for college we should give him money so he could start his own business. And we were like, "uh, no, we're not going to do that."
MAX'S MOM: These are for the for the mat and the storefront with the numbers. But there's only three, there should be four.
MAX'S MOM: Do you remember those shoes Max used to wear in middle school called Ice Creams? Do you remember those? Weren't they the coolest sneakers? And these are like literally all the colors of those sneakers.
MAX'S MOM: Max sort of pulled me in to help with the design. One of the areas that's extremely detailed are these Mosaic floors. [indistinct talking]
MAX'S MOM: You knew from the beginning you wanted to do the mosaics?
MAX: She's giving me the credit. She was the one who suggested doing that. I had an idea for mosaic tile floors, but she picked the colors. She thought we should push it and go into this world. She found the company to order them from. She's the one who puts the design together, places the order. She's fully the tile person.
MAX: No, I mean, I think that's kind of just at the core of what it's been honestly. It's been from the start the family has supported to help us get this all off the ground, and do it emotionally, in every way possible.
MAX'S MOM: They are always getting people together to celebrate the fact that like they're not doing this alone. This is definitely like a huge collaborative team. People show up, support. it's been—you guys have gotten a lot of love.
MAX: We've been lucky that it's like, you know, it's been family all the way through.
MAX'S MOM: It's great because he welcomes us into his life and his space and his world. And like, as a mother, that's a dream, right? Like who doesn't want their son to be saying, "Hey Mom. Come on out and like be a part of this." It's really so—it's so sweet.
