Businesses Can Integrate More Tools With Their Square Register

SAN FRANCISCO, October 23, 2014 — Square, the company enabling sellers to start, run, and grow their business, today launched Square App Marketplace — a destination for sellers to discover integrated business applications that seamlessly sync with any Square account. Square’s complete Register service is designed to give businesses effective, efficient, and powerful solutions for everything from accepting payments to managing their back office.

With the introduction of Square App Marketplace, all Square sellers can easily locate more options to customize their business and operate with ease.

“Through Square App Marketplace, we have access to lots of different tools that work together to help our business run smoothly,” says Nicole Yeary, president and founder of Ms. Tech in Chicago, Ill. “We discovered SumAll through Square, and now we use it to track social metrics alongside our paid invoices. We use QuickBooks for accounting and IFTTT to automatically log all transactions in a Google spreadsheet. Access to these integrated apps lets us see the full picture and boosts our confidence in day-to-day operations.”

Since launching its software partner platform a year ago, Square has added integrated apps from Intuit QuickBooks, Xero, Stitch Labs, IFTTT, TaxJar, SumAll, Fresh KDS, Shopseen, and ShipStation. In addition to software partners, any developer can create purpose-built tools for sellers of all sizes via Square’s platform.

Square is making sophisticated, big-business tools simple, easy to use, and available to anyone. Independent sellers are increasingly adopting Square Register at the counter for its intuitive interface, smart analytics, continuous updates, and simple processing fees. Square products focus on making it easier for sellers to run and grow their business.
