Here Are the New Small Business Tools We Launched in June

At Square, we’re always working hard to bring you new small business tools designed to help you work smarter and faster. Here’s a quick rundown of what was launched during June:

Schedule and send recurring invoices

Square Invoices was already a great small business tool, but now we’ve added even more features, giving small business owners more ways to save time and get paid faster. You can now schedule invoices to send online when it suits you best. But that’s not all. We also added a recurring invoices feature, which allows you to schedule and send invoices online and collect payments from your customers at regular intervals — be it daily, weekly, monthly or annually.

Skip the receipt screen for faster checkout

We understand that you need to check customers out faster during peak hours, so this month we added a new feature that helps you speed up checkout by skipping the receipt screen. It’s easy to start using this new feature, which is particularly valuable for busy cafes, coffee bars and retail stores. Simply open Square Point of Sale and select Signature from the Settings screen. You can toggle the receipt screen on and off from here, meaning you can react quickly if it gets busy unexpectedly.

Your item library has grown

As your business starts to grow, a large item library in your point-of-sale system is one of the best tools available to you. We’ve increased the number of items you can add to your library, allowing you to sell a whole lot more.

Refer friends, earn free processing

Save money on all of these valuable small business tools by using Square’s simple free processing referral program. For each person who activates a new Square account through your unique referral link, you’ll receive reimbursements on processing fees up to $1,000 in sales over the next 180 days. Once they’ve activated, your friends will also receive $1,000 in free processing—meaning you’re sharing the love! Just log in to your Dashboard to get your unique referral link. Then send it to friends and colleagues using Twitter, Facebook or email, or add it to your digital receipts to start accruing your free card processing balance straight away.
