In person

When a customer taps, inserts or swipes their card in person. Visa, Mastercard, eftpos or American Express all cost the same rate.

1.6% per transaction


When a customer makes a purchase through your Online Store, Online Checkout, eCommerce API or pays an invoice online.

2.2% per transaction


When you manually key in your customer’s card details on a point of sale, invoice or Virtual Terminal or use a card on file.

1 Instant transfers require a linked, eligible bank account and cost a fee per transfer. Funds are subject to your bank’s availability schedule. Up to $5,000 AUD per day. The minimum you can transfer is $5.

2 All loans are issued by Square AU Pty. Ltd. (ABN 38 167 106 176). Valid Australian bank account is required. Actual fee depends upon payment card processing history, loan amount and other eligibility factors. A minimum payment of 1/18th of the initial loan balance is required every 60 days and full loan repayment is required within 18 months. Loan eligibility is not guaranteed. Eligibility criteria include consistent and continuous payment card processing through Square. All loans are subject to credit approval. Terms and conditions apply.

3 All payment plans are issued by Square AU Pty. Ltd. All plans are interest-free. First payment will be due at checkout. Available plan lengths vary from 3, 6 and/or 12 instalments based on purchase amount. All plans are subject to credit approval.
