Square - Competition Terms

General
By participating in the Square Handheld competition, each participant agrees and acknowledges that these terms and conditions are binding.

The promoter is Square AU Pty Ltd, ABN 38 167 106 176 of Queen & Collins, Lv. 8, 376-390 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000. The Promotion commences at 2:00PM (AEST) on 3 September 2025 and closes at 4:00PM (AEST) on 24 September 2025.

Entry is open to AU residents only who are over 18 years of age. Multiple entries are not permitted, and participants can only enter in their own name.

How to Enter
To enter this Promotion you must, during the Promotion Period:

• Sign up and attend the SERVING FASTER WITH SQUARE HANDHELD Webinar, on 24 September 2025 at 2pm AEST.

This is a game of chance. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into with entrants, and the Promoter may determine at any time whether or not to disqualify or invalidate any entry at its absolute discretion. Employees of the Promoter, immediate family members of any employee, and any associated company or agency of the Promotion are not eligible to enter. The Promoter may require the Winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency.

Draw and Prizes
The promoter will select the winners on a random basis, with the promoter’s selection being final and binding, subject to the promoter’s rights under these Terms. The selection will take place at Queen & Collins, Lv. 8, 376-390 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 at 9am (AEST) on 1 October 2025 and the Promoter will determine 15 winner(s).

Each Winner will each receive a prize of: One Square Handheld device. The total prize pool value is approximately $349.

The Winners of this competition will be notified via email, by 5:00PM (AEST) on 1 October 2025 and the Winners must claim their prize in accordance with the directions provided in the communication from the Promoter. If a Winner cannot be contacted by 5pm (AEST) on 17 October 2025, the Promoter has the right to select a new winner at the same time and place as the original selection. The prizes will be delivered to the physical address provided by the Winners for such delivery.

This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to alter the rules of the competition at any time. If a prize (or any element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute for that prize (or element of that prize) another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter.

Other conditions of entry
Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, consequential, indirect or special loss), expense, damage, personal injury, illness or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize. Where any liability cannot be excluded by law, the liability of the Promoter and its associated agencies and companies is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

Nothing in these conditions of entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Without limiting the preceding two paragraphs, the Promoter will not be liable for any damage, loss or delay in transit to prizes, or for late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed or illegible entries, correspondence or claims for prizes.
