When customers purchase via your Square Online site, they can specify the location. Will customers who book an appointment through my Square Online site be added to my customer directory? Not at this time. You can manually add a customer to your directory from your online Square Dashboard. Will Square Gift Cards work on Square Online? Yes. If a customer has a Square Gift Card associated with your business, they’ll be able to apply their balance during the checkout flow. Can I manually set up categories in my Square Online site? Yes. From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Categories, and select Add Category. Give your new category a name, and add any items you want to include with the Choose Items button. Why didn’t I receive a notification when my customer booked an appointment? Depending on your email provider, notifications will sometimes be filtered to your spam folder. Double check your spam folder, and add the email address firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts.
