Hi, my name is Andy. I'm the co-founder of Maui Poke, and this is a day of my life. A typical morning in a business, we'd open up shop.
The first thing we do was cook rice, prepare the fridges for service, get dressed up and wait for the rice to start. The problems we wanted to solve when we first started using Square was to remove the clunkiness of old POS systems and have our POS system seamlessly integrate with our payment terminals.
The thing we do differently at Maui Poke is we really try and create our own tribe. We've been able to scale our business from one to three locations. Everyone loves coming into work, and we just really genuinely care to make the best Poke bowl.
Since using Square, it's helped us to cut customer waiting times in half, so it's definitely been very helpful for us. What makes the best poke bowl is the freshest fish, the fluffiest rice, and the freshest ingredients. The value that Square adds is that it helps us to track sales data in real time, every day, across multiple locations. It's fast, it's easy to use, and it's easy for the staff to learn how to use it to our community.
It's young, it's fun, it's loving, and we just enjoy having a good time and making Poke bowls and listening to loud music.
