Square Welcomes the Zenlytic Team
Bringing Conversational Intelligence to Small Business Data
Today, Square welcomed a team from Zenlytic, a startup that built tools to help people get answers from their business data by asking questions in plain language.
For sellers, those questions come up every day. Why were sales down this week? Which menu items need new prices? Do I have the right staffing for the weekend? Finding answers often means working through reports when there’s already a business to run.
The Zenlytic team will help us build on Managerbot so sellers can better understand what’s happening in their business and decide what to do next.
“Business owners shouldn’t have to spend hours in reports to figure out what needs their attention,” said Willem Avé, who leads the Managerbot initiative at Square. “We’re excited to bring this team’s experience to Square and help sellers get answers faster, with more time for their customers.”
“We built Zenlytic to make business data easy for anyone to understand and use,” said Ryan Jannsen, co-founder and CEO of Zenlytic. “Joining Square lets us build a new product that helps sellers make AI work for their businesses.”
We’re building Managerbot to help sellers spend less time sorting through data and more time making decisions, serving customers and running their business. Learn more about how it works here.
