Manage Your Calendar From The Square Appointments App

Create and manage appointments and personal events in your calendar right from the Square Appointments App for iPhone and iPad.

Create An Appointment

From the calendar screen:

  1. Tap + or press and hold the desired time slot > tap Create Appointment.
  2. Select an existing client or tap + to create a new client profile.
  3. Select a Service, Date & Time, and Staff member providing the service.
  4. Tap Save.
  5. Tap Notification Type to select if and how you’d like to notify your client > add an optional custom message.
  6. Tap Book Appointment.

Cancel An Appointment

  1. Select the existing appointment from the Calendar view.
  2. Scroll down > tap Cancel Appointment.
  3. Tap Notification Type to select if and how you’d like to notify your client of the cancellation > add an optional custom message.
  4. Tap Cancel Appointment.

Note: Notification options are only displayed for clients with contact information in their profile.

Edit An Appointment

From the calendar screen:

  1. Select an appointment.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Make any necessary changes > tap Save.
  4. Tap Notification Type to select if and how you’d like to notify your client of the changes > add an optional custom message.
  5. Tap Update Appointment.

Create A Personal Event

Personal events come in handy when you need to block off time from your calendar, or set a reminder for a task that doesn’t affect your booking availability.

From the calendar screen:

  1. Tap + or press and hold the desired time slot.
  2. Tap Create Personal Event.
  3. Enter an Event Title, Date & Time, and Duration.
  4. If needed, toggle Block Off Time as Busy to On.
  5. Tap Save.
