    We can all use an extra hand when it comes to building our business. Square offers multiple support channels to find answers to your questions, meeting you when and where you need support. Our self-serve resources are the fastest way to find answers to your questions. If you have any account-specific questions, you can always contact our team directly.

    Before you begin

    Only account owners or authorized representatives can contact Square. Learn how to add and manage authorized representatives. Have your account information handy. If you contact our support team using the email address or phone number associated with the account, we can pull up your account more efficiently.

    Option 1: Visit Support Center

    Square Support Center gives you instant access to search the most up-to-date Square support resources, support articles, and video tutorials to help you start, manage, and grow your business with Square. We also invite you to provide feedback on our support resources — your feedback helps us grow together.

    Start here to search for answers to common questions and step-by-step guidance. To access Square Support Center, visit squareup.com/help.

    Option 2: Get in-app support

    Get help within the Square Point of Sale app, Square Terminal, or Square Register. In-app support uses Support Assistant to help guide you to self-serve resources or available live support options based on your issue and eligibility. To get in-app support:

    1. Sign in to your account at squareup.com/login.

    2. Tap ≡ More > Support > Get help.

    Option 3: Visit the Square Community

    Square Community is a space to collaborate and learn with other Square sellers. Join the Square Community to find out how other businesses are using Square, connect with businesses facing similar challenges, and pose questions to our online community when you need help or advice. To access the Square Community:

    1. Go to the Square Community and click Sign In.

    2. Use the email address and password associated with your Square account. If this is your first time using the Square Community, create a public username.

    Option 4: Watch Square support videos on YouTube

    If you prefer to watch a video tutorial, the Square YouTube channel has a library full of resources to help you get the most out of your Square account. To view our videos:

    1. Go to the Square YouTube channel.

    2. Select Videos to view available content.

    Option 5: Contact Square Support

    We know you may need more than our online resources to help manage, understand, and grow your business. Square has a dedicated Square Support team that can provide account specific assistance on transactions and transfers while offering expert knowledge of Square products and services.

    Phone

    You can contact Square directly by phone. Phone support is not guaranteed for all sellers and availability may vary by Square subscription.

    You can call Square Support at 1-855-700-6000. There may be a wait when you call, so feel free to use our callback option if you can’t wait on the line.

    Messaging

    Chat support is accessed through Support Assistant in the Square Dashboard, Support Center, or Square POS app. Support Assistant may respond first and will route you to a live agent when available.

    Support Assistant will connect you with a Square Support advocate within operational hours: Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

    From your computer:

    1. Go to the Square Support Center and select Sign In.
    2. Enter your account email and password.
    3. Use Support Assistant to request help and view available support options.

    From your Square Dashboard:

    1. Sign in to Square Dashboard.
    2. Open Support Assistant to get help and request live support, if available.

    From your Square Point of Sale app:

    1. Tap ≡ More > Support.
    2. Use Support Assistant to get help and view available support options.

    To switch from our Ai-powered assistant to a live chat agent:

    1. Open your chat conversation.
    2. Select ••• > Chat with an agent.
