Set Up Touch Free Checkout Using Payment Links
Offer more touch-free checkout options through your Square Point of Sale by sending payment links. When you select Send Payment Link at checkout, a unique payment URL will generate which you can share with your customer via your preferred mode of contact—whether they're in your store or on the go.
Pricing
There is no monthly fee for using checkout links. You’ll only pay Square standard eCommerce processing fee of 2.2% per transaction.

Send Payment Links
From the Checkout screen of your Square POS app, enter a custom amount on the keypad or select an item from your Library or Favourites tab.
Tap Review sale > Charge.
Tap Send Payment Link.

Tap Share link to copy the unique URL to share it manually or select from the quick share options to text or email your customer.
Once the customer opens the link, a simple payment screen will appear and they will have the option to manually enter their card details or express checkout via their digital wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Enable Tipping on Payment Links
When you’re using payment links, you can easily allow for tips from your customers. To enable tipping for your payment links from your Square POS app:
Tap ≡ More > Settings > Checkout.
Tap Tipping.
Toggle on Collect Tips.
Configure your tip settings.
Your customers will now automatically see tipping settings of 5%, 10%, and 15% on their payment link. Learn more about tipping within Square Point of Sale.
