Square Point of Sale is cloud-based, which means you can use it wherever you go from your iPad, your phone or your Square hardware. It helps you take orders from customers, and since our systems are fully integrated, you can also take payments through the same POS system.
One of the key benefits of Square POS is that we are fully customisable to suit any type of food truck. From selling tacos to burgers, churros to doughnuts, ice cream to bao, you can set up your items with as much flexibility as you need.
Square POS does more than take payments. Enable a loyalty programme for customers, use inventory management and create and send invoices too.
Yes. With Square, you can take card payments at our one flat rate, and you can also accept orders and record cash payments to track it through our reporting.
With Offline Mode, you can accept card payments when your internet service is temporarily unavailable. Offline payments are processed automatically when you reconnect your device to the internet and may be declined if not processed within 24 hours. Offline Mode is available on Square Terminal and Square Register.
Square reporting can be as simple or advanced as you like. You are able to see daily, weekly and monthly sales overall and by location. You can track which items sell best at each location and tweak your menu based on where you serve.
Yes. You can print receipts as long as you use Square POS to record the transaction and have a printer attached. Or you can use Square Terminal with a built-in printer.
