Square’s new invoices app makes it as easy as pie to request and take payments anywhere, anytime. Here are five ways that invoicing apps can help you get paid faster:
Receive instant payments.
Free to download, with Square’s invoicing app you can easily create invoices — whenever and wherever you need to. On average, payments for Square’s invoices make it into your bank account within three days. For instant payment, use the Card on File feature to charge a scheduled or recurring invoice. You’ll pay a fee of 3.4% + 15¢ each time you complete a payment with Square Invoices using a card on file.
Search and sort.
Sort your invoices by category — paid, unpaid, overdue, sent and draft — to keep track of your money. This user-friendly search function also allows you to search by customer’s name, so it’s easy to find out which invoices are still outstanding.
Send reminders.
Get paid faster by sending gentle reminders for unpaid or overdue invoices. You can also schedule recurring invoices for regular payments, so you never miss out. You can also send clients or customers invoices that allow them to pay for goods or services at a later date.
Integrate apps.
Square’s invoicing app integrates seamlessly with bookkeeping apps such as QuickBooks, and other Square partners. Visit the App Marketplace to keep your accounts on track.
Do away with customer transaction fees.
You can send unlimited invoices through your mobile device, tablet or desktop. Meanwhile, your customers can easily and securely pay online from their phone or desktop, and there is no charge to them for the transaction (you’ll pay a set 2.9% + 30¢ per invoice paid online).
To use our invoices app on your phone or tablet, simply make sure your Square point-of-sale app is updated, then select Invoices from the drop-down menu, tap Create Invoice and you’re good to go.
