2026 PREVIEW SQUAREMATES SAN FRANCISCO SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Binding Agreement. By entering the 2026 Preview Squaremates San Francisco, CA (the "Sweepstakes"), you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Entry is not valid unless you meet all eligibility requirements.

2. Sponsor and Administrator. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Block, Inc., formerly known as Square, Inc., 1955 Broadway Street, Suite 600, Oakland, CA 94612 ("Sponsor").

3. Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry and are legal residents of, and physically located in, the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia. Employees, officers, directors, contractors, and agents of Sponsor, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws apply.

4. Sweepstakes Period. The Sweepstakes begins on November 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. PST and ends on November 17, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. PST (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will not be eligible. Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

5. How to Enter. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN, AND A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. During the Sweepstakes Period, you may enter as follows by attending the 2026 Preview Squaremates San Francisco event. You can sign-up for the event beforehand at https://blockevents.rsvpify.com/squarematestour. Attendance is required to participate in the Sweepstakes.

Limit one (1) entry per person per event, regardless of the method of entry. Entries generated by script, macro, bot, or other automated means, or by any method that subverts the entry process, are void. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, late, or that do not comply with these Official Rules are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

6. Winner Selection. Three (3) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted on or about November 17, 2026 by the Sponsor using a random selection method. The drawing will be conducted by chance, and no skill or judging is involved.

7. Odds of Winning. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

8. Prizes. The following prize will be awarded: Square Handheld with a retail value of $399. The total approximate retail value of all prizes is $1,197. Approximate retail value is determined by Sponsor as of October 21, 2026 and the actual value may differ. All prize details not expressly stated are determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All costs and expenses not expressly described as part of a prize, are the winner's responsibility.

9. Prize Conditions. Prizes are awarded "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, and may not be transferred, assigned, or substituted by the winner, and may not be redeemed for cash except at Sponsor's discretion. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. Limit one prize per person and per household.

10. Winner Notification and Verification. Potential winners will be notified in person on November 17, 2026 at the 2026 Preview Squaremates San Francisco event. A potential winner must be present to win the prize.

11. Taxes. All federal, state, and local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes with an approximate retail value of $2,000 or more will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service and the winner will receive a Form 1099. Sponsor does not provide tax advice, and winners should consult their own advisors.

12. Publicity. Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's consent to Sponsor's use of the winner's name, city and state of residence, likeness, photograph, voice, and statements for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, review, approval, or compensation.

13. Release and Limitation of Liability. By entering, you release and agree to hold harmless Sponsor, affiliates, and APPLICABLE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM: E.G., FACEBOOK, X/TWITTER, INSTAGRAM, TIKTOK, YOUTUBE ETC., and advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trademark infringement or any other intellectual property-related cause of action.

The Released Parties are not responsible for: entries or communications that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, incomplete, or not received for any reason; technical or human error of any kind; interruption or unavailability of any network, server, or provider; unauthorized human intervention; or any injury or damage to any person's device related to participation. If for any reason an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or destroyed, the entrant's sole remedy is a single additional entry, provided it can be submitted within the Sweepstakes Period.

14. General Conditions. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it determines, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in a disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If the Sweepstakes cannot be conducted as planned because of infection by computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, epidemics, pandemics, or any other cause beyond Sponsor's reasonable control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify affected entries and to modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the stated end date, Sponsor will, if feasible, select winners in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received up to the time of the action. Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may violate criminal and civil law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

15. Disputes and Governing Law. These Official Rules are governed by the laws of California without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. All disputes arising out of or relating to the Sweepstakes are subject to the dispute resolution provisions, including any arbitration agreement and class-action waiver, of Block, Inc., which are incorporated by reference. Each entrant waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages, and to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and agrees that recovery is limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

16. Privacy. Information collected from entrants is subject to the Square Privacy Notice, available at https://squareup.com/us/en/legal/general/privacy. Entrants may separately and optionally consent to receive marketing communications from Sponsor. Consent to marketing communications is not required to enter and does not affect your chances of winning.

17. Winners List. For the names of the winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Block, Inc., formerly known as Square, Inc., 1955 Broadway Street, Suite 600, Oakland, CA 94612 ("Sponsor").
