Log into your Square Dashboard
Go to squareup.com/dashboard and use your email and password to sign in.
Click Sign in.
Go to Virtual Terminal
In the navigation pane, click Virtual Terminal > Take a Payment.

Enter the payment details
Enter the amount to be charged, an optional note for the payment, and select a Payment Method. You can manually enter the card details, swipe a card using a Square Reader for Magstripe, or charge a card on file.

When you’re ready, swipe or click Charge.
Complete the sale
That’s it—your funds will be deposited into your bank account as fast as the next business day or in seconds with Instant Deposit. Review Square’s deposit options.
You can keep track of all your transactions by going to Sales > Transactions in your online Square Dashboard.
Square’s standard processing fee for Virtual Terminal payments is 3.5% + 15¢ per manually-entered payment and 2.75% per swipe.

Go to your Square Dashboard
On a computer, go to squareup.com/login and click Dashboard in the upper right corner. Sign in and go to the Invoices page. Click the Create Invoice button. To create a recurring invoice, select the Recurring option.
Create your invoice
Select Invoice from the list of payment options. Complete the requested information, including the email address of the invoice recipient, and add a custom message in the message field (optional).
Send your invoice
When the information is complete, click Send. Your customer receives an emailed invoice that looks like this, and you get a copy in your inbox.

Track invoice payment
Once your invoice is sent, you can track whether it has been paid from your online Square Dashboard.
