Is my iPad compatible with the Square Stand?
Square Stand now comes in two sizes to accommodate even more iPad models, including the latest 10.2” iPad. Please ensure you select the correct model for your iPad when purchasing:

iPad (5th generation 2017)

The latest versions of Square Stand are not compatible with the following iPad models:
iPad Air (4th generation)
iPad (1st generation)

Can I accept card payments without connecting Square Stand to a power outlet?
Yes, however you’ll need to ensure that your iPad is connected to the Square Reader via Bluetooth to accept tapped and inserted chip card payments.
Note: USB accessories are not supported when the Square Stand is not plugged into power.
