Is my iPad compatible with the Square Stand for Contactless and Chip and PIN?

If you have an iPad (6th generation), iPad (5th generation), iPad Pro 9.7”, iPad Air 2 or iPad Air (1st generation), we have a compatible Square Stand.

What if I already have a contactless and chip and PIN card reader?

You can purchase the Square Stand for Contactless and Chip without the reader if you already have one.

Can I accept card payments without connecting Square Stand to a power outlet?

Yes, when Square Stand is not plugged in to a power outlet, it utilises the iPad’s battery to allow you to swipe magnetic stripe cards and connect to the Square Reader for Contactless and Chip and PIN via Bluetooth to accept touched and inserted chip and PIN card payments.

Note: USB accessories are not supported in this mode.

Orders placed before 1pm GMT will dispatch on the same day and will arrive in one working day. Delivery methods depend on hardware availability and delivery costs are non-refundable.
