Manage your Square Card

Change Your Square Card PIN

You can reset your Square Card PIN from your online Square Dashboard, or from your Square app.

From your online Square Dashboard:

  1. Go to Balance > Square Card.

  2. Tap Card Management.

  3. Next to Status, click on the blue “…” icon.

  4. Select Reset PIN.

From your Square app:

  1. Go to Balance > Square Card.

  2. Click Reset Card PIN.

Edit Your Billing Address

You are able to view and edit your billing address associated with your Square Car from your online Square Dashboard.

To do so:

  1. Navigate to the Balance tab of your online Square Dashboard. > select Square Card.

  2. Click Card Management* > select **Billing address from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Edit billing address > make your edits and click Save.

Reorder Your Square Card

If your Square Card is lost or stolen, you can cancel and reorder it from your Square app or online Square Dashboard. This will automatically cancel your card. Please note: Square Card will take 7-10 days to arrive. Your funds will continue to accrue in your Square balance while you wait for your new card to arrive, and you can manually transfer that money to your linked bank account at any time.

To do so from your Square app:

  1. Open your Square app > tap Balance > Square Card

  2. Tap Get help with card.

  3. Next to Status, click on the blue “…” icon.

  4. Select Report Lost or Stolen > Order a New Card.

From your online Square Dashboard:

  1. Go to the Balance tab > select Square Card.

  2. Click Card Management.

  3. Next to Status, click on the blue “…” icon.

  4. Select Report Lost or Stolen > Order a New Card.

Locate your Account & Routing Number

Once Square Card is activated on your Square account, you will be provided with an account and routing number. Your account and routing number can be used to accept credits or debits on your Square Balance from third parties at no additional cost.

To locate your account and routing number:

1. Log into your online Square Dashboard > Balance.
2. Within the Balance tab, select Transfer settings.
3. Click View account & routing number. You’ll be prompted to provide a verification code that was sent to the email address associated with your Square account.
4. Once you provide the code, press Next. Your account and routing number will be visible, and you can copy your account details onto your device.

An account & routing number is only available for Square Card users at this time, and will not be available for use until Square Card has been activated on your Square account. 

Note: If your Square Card is deactivated your account and routing number will no longer work. If your Square Card is temporarily disabled, you will still be able to use your account & routing number for credits and debits.

Manage your Notifications

To manage how you receive notifications regarding your Square Card activity, navigate to Balance > Square Card > Settings.

Deactivate Your Square Card

You can deactivate your Square Card from your Square app. To do so:

  1. Open your app and go to the Square Card section.

  2. Tap Get help with card > select I’d like to cancel my card.

  3. Tap Deactivate Card.

In case you need to, you can order a new card by selecting Order Replacement.

Temporarily Disable Your Square Card

You can temporarily deactivate your Square Card from your Square app. To do so:

  1. Open your app and go to the Square Card section.

  2. Toggle on Disable Card.

Note: This feature is currently only available on iOS.
