Add Square Card to Your Digital Wallet
With Square Card, you have real-time access to your balance and the ability to spend your funds using the card.
Square Card gives you the option to access your funds before you receive your physical card, add your card to your digital wallet, and make purchases quickly and conveniently.
Access your Virtual Card
Once you order a Square Card, and before it arrives in the mail, you can get access to your funds by using the virtual Square Card. The virtual card can also be added to Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
You can also view the full PAN (card number) of your virtual card which allows you to use it for online purchases, and manually entered payments while you wait for your physical card.
To access your virtual Square Card from the Square app.:
Tap the three horizontal lines > Balance > Square Card.
You will see the last 4 digits of the virtual card at the top.
In case you want to hide the virtual card information from your Square app, you can do so by toggling off Show card info.
Note: Once you order a Square Card, and access the virtual Square Card, your transfers are automatically switched over to Manual transfers – your funds will be stored in your Square Balance, which can be accessed using the physical, or virtual Square Card, or if you chose to transfer the funds to your linked bank account.
