Set up delivery options for Square Online
About delivery for Square Online orders
With Square Online, you can sell prepared food and beverage items online, and offer nearby customers a way to have their orders delivered by your own delivery staff.
Before you begin

Before you can set up delivery options for online orders, you need a way to accept orders online. Learn how to set up different options to take online orders:
Be sure to visit your Square Item Library to assign Local delivery to the items you want to be fulfilled via delivery. Learn how to Set up items for your online store for details.
Step 1: Enable in-house delivery
Sign in to Square Dashboard, then go to Settings > Account & Settings > Fulfilment methods > Online pick-up & delivery.
Click Set up location or toggle on Delivery by the location you want to enable delivery for.
Indicate your pickup settings by selecting Yes or No. Select Continue to set up delivery settings.
Indicate that you want to offer delivery by selecting Yes.

Decide if you’ll calculate and assign delivery times automatically.
By selecting Yes, we’ll calculate the delivery times automatically to enable customers to choose a delivery date and time based on your business hours, prep time, and estimated delivery time.
By selecting No, you can manually share the delivery details with your customer so you can manage order scheduling in a way that works best for your business.
Choose the timing when orders can be delivered.
Choose how to prepare orders for delivery.
Select Continue to check which sites your location should be available on.
Select Continue to review your settings so far, then select Edit to set up additional settings.
Step 2: Configure in-house delivery settings

Set up delivery-related settings, including:
Delivery region (either by postcode or radius),
Estimated delivery time (added to the prep time),
Delivery and service fees,
Minimum order amount, and
No-contact delivery (won't be applicable to orders containing alcoholic items).
Under Timing, configure your order preparation timing.
Under Workflow, configure printer settings for orders.
Under Fulfilment hours, choose your opening hours and time zone.
Under Restricted dates, click + Add date to select the days of the year when this location will not be fulfilling pickup and delivery orders.
Adjust any remaining Location details and Site visibility settings.
Select Save when finished.
Step 3: Set up advanced delivery settings (optional)
After your main setup is complete, you can also configure other advanced settings that will apply to every location you've enabled for delivery.
Sign in to Square Dashboard, then go to Settings > Account & Settings > Fulfilment methods > Online pick-up & delivery.
Click Advanced settings.
Toggle on Set a quantity limit for pickup and delivery orders. Enter a quantity limit to prevent unexpected large delivery orders, and include an optional custom message explaining how to place orders that are over the quantity limit.
Click Save.
Stop accepting delivery orders
Sign in to Square Dashboard, then go to Settings > Account & Settings > Fulfilment methods > Online pick-up & delivery.
Toggle off Delivery by your chosen location.
