Add YouTube and other videos to Square Online
Adding videos to your website can add visual appeal and make your site more engaging. In Square Online, you can add videos in a variety of ways. You can upload your own video file, embed a video directly from YouTube or add videos from other hosts using embeddable code.

Upload your own videos
Note: Upload a custom video file by upgrading your Square Online subscription.
Square Online’s direct video uploader provides a fast and easy way to add more media to your site without the distraction of third party links and advertisements. To upload a video file directly to your Square Online site:
From your Square Dashboard, open the page where you want the video added.
Select + > Section and choose Video.
Choose Custom as your video source and upload your video file.
Adjust other settings, such as video loop and automatic playback, as needed.
Complete any other edits and select Publish to see the changes live.
Note: All common video file types are supported, with a maximum file size of 100 MB per video and a maximum length of one hour. For videos longer than an hour, trying embedding your video from another host, or upload separate, shorter videos using the video section.
Embed videos from YouTube
To embed videos on your Square Online site from YouTube:
From your Square Dashboard, open the page where you want the video added.
Select + > Section and choose a Video.
Choose YouTube as your video source and enter your YouTube URL.
Complete any other edits and select Publish to see the changes live.
If you’re using YouTube to host your video, you can add subtitles to your videos or use automatic captioning for videos in several languages. Automatic captioning is typically based on speech recognition, so it may not provide perfect results, but you can review and edit the captions once the video has been processed.

Embed videos from other hosts

If you have videos you want to add from a different host besides YouTube, you can also add those videos with embeddable code. To do so:
From your Square Dashboard, open the page where you want the video added.
Select + > Section and choose an Embed code section to embed videos from other hosts.
Select the section and add your video’s embed code in the editing panel.
Complete any other edits and select Publish to see the changes live.
