Manage Your Calendar from the Square Appointments App for Android

Create and manage appointments and personal events in your calendar right from the Square Appointments App for Android.

Book An Appointment

From the calendar screen:

  1. Select the staff performing the service.

  2. Select the desired time slot > tap Create Appointment.

  3. Select an existing customer or tap + to create a new Customer Profile.

  4. Select a Service and Date & Time > Save.

  5. Tap Notification Type to select if and how you’d like to notify your customer > add an optional custom message.

  6. Tap Book Appointment.

Cancel An Appointment

  1. Select the existing appointment from the Calendar view.

  2. Scroll down > tap Cancel Appointment.

  3. Tap Notification Type to select if and how you’d like to notify your customer of the cancellation > add an optional custom message.

  4. Tap Cancel Appointment.

Note: Notification options are only displayed for customers with contact information in their profile.

Edit An Appointment

From the calendar screen:

  1. Select an appointment and tap Edit.

  2. Make any necessary changes > tap Save.

  3. Tap Notification Type to select if and how you’d like to notify your customer of the changes > add an optional custom message.

  4. Tap Update Appointment.

View Your Calendar by Service

You can view your calendar by service instead of by the staff member assigned to each appointment. If there are multiple services on an appointment, the appointment will show multiple colors on your calendar. You can toggle between viewing your calendar by service or by staff member at any time from your calendar settings.

To assign colors to each service:

  1. Go to Items & Services from the menu.

  2. Tap Services.

  3. Select one of your services.

  4. Tap the color badge and select the color you want to assign to this service.

  5. Tap Save.
