Create a Square Online Booking Site from Appointments

Square Appointments offers the option to create a mobile-friendly Square Online booking site that allows your customers to book appointments online, buy items, and learn more about your business. Choose the layout, font style, colours, and optional website pages that go best with your business.

Your customers will be able to choose the location they wish to book the service in, as well as the service(s), and preferred staff member for the appointment. 

Note: If you signed up for Square Appointments before January 2021, you will see a different version of the free booking site. Find out more about how to set up online bookings with Square Appointments.

Enable Your Online Booking Website

From your Appointments Dashboard

  1. Go to Customers > Appointments from your online Square Dashboard.

  2. Click Online Booking > Channels.

  3. Under Booking channels, select Get Started next to Square Online website.

  4. Sit tight while your Square Online site is being created. 

  5. Customise and publish your Square Appointments online booking site.

Once the booking site is generated, you will be redirected to preview the mobile version of your Square Online website. You are able to change to the computer view by selecting the mobile icon at the top bar.

From Your Appointments App 

  1. Open your Appointments app and navigate to the Online Booking section. 

  2. Under Booking Channels, tap Preview next to Square Online website.

  3. Tap Publish.

Manage Your Online Booking Website

Once you have enabled an online booking website for your business, you are able to customise the website from your Appointments Dashboard or from the free SquAppointments app. 

From your Appointments Dashboard

  1. Go to Customers > Appointments from your online Square Dashboard.

  2. Click Online Booking > Channels.

  3. Under Booking channels, select Manage next to Square Online website.

  4. Click Edit next to the site you’d like to make changes to, and you will be redirected to the Square Online editor.

  5. Make your desired edits, then select Publish to save your changes.

From Your Appointments App

  1. Open your Appointments app and navigate to the Online Booking section. 

  2. Under Booking Channels, tap Preview next to Square Online website.

  3. Tap Edit Site, and make your desired changes. 

  4. Tap Publish to save your changes and publish your site.

Note: The ability to accept Afterpay is not yet available with your Square Appointments online booking site. We hope to expand availability in the future. Learn more about Afterpay and Square.
