Power modes	Plugged in Stand is plugged into the power adapter and wall outlet and will simultaneously charge the iPad. Wireless Stand is unplugged and runs on the iPad’s battery power. Square Reader must be connected via bluetooth to accept chip and tap payments. USB accessories are not supported in this mode. Reader + Dock Plug the dock into the Square Stand USB hub to keep Square Reader charged throughout the day.
