About custom sale amounts
Square Point of Sale makes checkout easy with a customizable item library. If you ever need to ring up a unique item or custom sale amount, you can do so from your point of sale app.
Before you begin
You can enter a custom amount for a sale on your point of sale app.
Enter a custom sale amount
Sign in to your point of sale app and go to Checkout.
Tap Keypad and enter a custom amount. To add multiple custom amounts, you can also tap the (+) icon to add a separate custom amount to the sale.
From the Current sale screen, tap Custom Amount to adjust the quantity, taxes, discounts, or notes to an existing custom amount. You can also Comp Item or Remove Item from this screen.
Tap Charge to complete the transaction.
