Disable Signatures for Square App Payments

Card Providers don’t require signatures for Dip, Tap and Swipe payments in the US and Canada. To help speed up your checkout experience, the Square app allows you to disable customer signatures for all card payments or for card payments under $25.

You can adjust your signature settings within the app to:

  1. Never Collect Signatures
  2. Collect Signatures over $25
  3. Always Collect Signatures

If you have collect signatures enabled, Square will collect signatures only when the card provider asks for it.
