Set Up Item Subscriptions in Square Online
Note: Make site items subscribable by upgrading your Square Online site.
With Square Subscriptions, you can make your items subscribable and sell them on your Square Online site, enabling buyers to automatically order them on a recurring basis (e.g. monthly). Start by simply creating a subscription plan, then attaching that plan to your site item.
Note: If you sell non-physical items with Square Online like memberships, be aware that Subscriptions doesn’t currently support an entitlement feature (e.g. if a gym offers five classes per month as part of a membership package, Subscriptions won’t keep track of how many classes a subscriber has already redeemed).

Add Subscriptions to Site Items
To add a Square Subscription to an item in Square Online:
From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Site Items.
Select an existing item or select Create new item.
Under Subscriptions, select Add subscriptions.
Check the boxes by the subscription plans you want to add to your item and select Done.
Check the box to indicate if the item is only purchasable as a subscription.
Finish all other edits to the item and select Save when finished.
You can also add Subscriptions to items from your Square Item Library.
Manage and Remove Subscriptions from Site Items
To manage a Square Subscription or remove it from an item in Square Online:
From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Site Items.
Select an existing item.
Under Subscriptions, select Manage subscriptions.
Check or uncheck any boxes to add or remove any subscription plans, and select Done.
Select Save when finished.
Under the Subscriptions section of the item details page, you can also select ••• > Edit plan to go to the Square Subscriptions page, or ••• > Remove from item to remove the plan from your site item.
