Growing up in the US with a Jewish heritage, Candy Berger was always surrounded by food. Upon moving to Australia, Candy noticed a gap in the market for good-quality bagels. Inspired by their lineage and driven by a special bond — Candy and her wife Gaia Lovell opened their first Lox In A Box store in a hole-in-the-wall location in Bondi, Sydney and haven’t looked back, scaling to three locations with a fourth on the horizon.
