Create and edit bundles with Square for Retail
About bundles
You can bundle complementary items together to sell for a single unit price ― often discounted. For example, you could sell a pasta dinner bundle that includes a jar of pasta sauce and a bag of pasta, or you could sell a bedding bundle that includes sheets and pillow cases.
You can use bundles to boost sales, cut shipping costs, and help introduce new products. You can track inventory on individual items whether they're sold separately or in bundles.
Before you begin
Create a bundle by adding up to 20 items, referred to as components.
You can create bundles from your Square Dashboard only.
You can edit bundles from your Square Dashboard or your Retail POS app.
You cannot bundle existing items, only during new item creation.
You can only add or remove components from a bundle in Square Dashboard.
Bundles can be sold from Square Point of Sale, the Retail POS app, and Square Online.
Create a bundle
You can create a bundle from your Item library in Square Dashboard.
Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Items & orders > Items > Item library.
Click Create item.
Click Sell as a bundle > Select components.
Check the box next to each item you want to include as components of your bundle.
Click Select components.
If applicable, add a SKU or GTIN.
Add the bundle Price.
Click Save.
Edit a bundle
You can edit bundles from your Item library in Square Dashboard, Square Point of Sale, and the Retail POS app.
- Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Items & orders > Items > Item library.
- Click a bundle to view.
- Click Select components under Bundle details to add or remove components.
- Check or uncheck components and click Select components.
- Update the amount in the Quantity column.
- Update the Price (required) field.
- Click Save.
