Manage Payment Methods for Square Invoices

You can manage payment methods accepted with your Square Invoices by updating the settings in your Square Invoices Overview page in Dashboard or Square Invoices app.

From Dashboard:

  1. In your Square Invoices Overview page, go to Settings.

  2. Under Payment Method, select Credit or debit card, Gift card, or both.

  3. Click Save.

From the Invoices app:

  1. In your app menu, select More > Default Invoice Settings.

  2. Tap Payment Method, and select Credit or debit card, Gift card, or both.

  3. Tap the back arrow to return to the Default Invoice Settings screen.

After updating these settings, your customers will only be able to pay their invoice(s) based on the payment method criteria selected.
