Nebraska

Withholding Tax

To make Nebraska withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the Nebraska Department of Revenue. You can register online by visiting the NE DOR website.

To make withholding tax payments:

  • Pay Online: Login to the NebFile for Business to make your payment online.

  • Pay by Credit Card: Visit the Nebraska Department of Revenue Official Payments website.

  • Pay by EFT Debit: View the EFT Debit Procedures.

  • Pay by EFT Credit: View the EFT Credit Procedures.

  • Pay by Tele-Pay: View the [Nebraska Tele-pay User Guide}(http://www.revenue.nebraska.gov/electron/Tele-pay_Instr.pdf).

  • Pay by Mail: Complete Form 941N, make check payable to Nebraska Department of Revenue, and mail to: Nebraska Department of Revenue, PO Box 98915, Lincoln, NE 68509-8915. Call (800) 742-7474 for assistance.

Unemployment Insurance

To make Nebraska unemployment tax payments, you must be registered online with the Nebraska Department of Labor or mail completed UI Form 1 to: State of Nebraska Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance Tax, PO Box 94600 Lincoln, NE 68509-4600

To make unemployment insurance payments:

  • Pay Online: Login to UIConnect and pay by Electronic Funds Transfer ACH Credit. Click on Online Payment Information for instructions .

  • Pay by Mail: Complete the Combined Tax Report and Wage Report or print a voucher from your UIConnect account. Make checks payable to Nebraska U.C. Fund and mail completed form/voucher and payment to: State of Nebraska Department of Labor Unemployment Insurance, PO Box 94600 Lincoln, NE 68509-4600

Nevada

Nevada Unemployment Tax Payments

To make Nevada state unemployment tax payments, you must be registered with the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation and have a Nevada Account Number. If you do not have an account number, you can register for one at the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation website. You can make tax payments online or by mail.

  • Pay Online: File your quarterly return and remit your taxes on the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation website.

  • Pay by Mail: Write a check payable to the Nevada Employment Security Division. Include your Nevada Account Number in the memo. your Mail your check to:

Nevada Modified Business Tax Payments

All employers subject to the Nevada Unemployment Compensation law are also subject to Nevada Modified Business Tax (MBT). Only wages in excess of $50,000 are subject to Nevada MBT. You must be registered with the State of Nevada, Department of Taxation and have a Nevada account number to make Nevada Modified Business Tax payments. If you do not have an account number, you can register for one on the Department of Taxation website. You make MBT payments online or by mail.

  • Pay Online: File your quarterly return and remit your taxes on the Department of Taxation website.

  • Pay by Mail: Write a check payable to the Nevada Department of Taxation. Include your Nevada Account Number in the memo line and mail your check to:

New Hampshire

Unemployment Insurance

To make New Hampshire unemployment tax payments, you must be registered with the New Hampshire Employment Security (NHES) and have a New Hampshire Unemployment account number. If you do not have an account number, you can register for one on the NHES website. You can make tax payments online or by mail.

  • Pay Online: Access Webtax to make unemployment tax payments via Electronic Funds Transfer.

  • Pay by Mail: Write a check payable to the New Hampshire Employment Security. Write your New Hampshire unemployment account number in the memo and mail your your check to:

New Jersey

Withholding Tax Payments

You will need to create a New Jersey withholding tax account with the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services (DOR). For New Jersey businesses (corporations, LLCs and registered partnerships), you’ll need your New Jersey-issued business ID number to complete the registration process. Shortly after you register, the DOR will mail you a confirmation letter that includes a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that you will need in order to make payments online. There is no fee to register your business with DOR.
- Register Online: Use the New Jersey Business Gateway Services on the DOR website.
- Paper Registration: Submit a paper application using Form NJ-REG, Business Registration Application.
You can pay New Jersey withholding tax online. For a complete explanation of online filing and payment options, check the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services (DOR) Guide to Electronic Filing and Payment Services.
- Pay Online: Payments must be made online through the DOR’s On-Line Filing Service. You may make payments for current or prior quarters online without the need to file paper forms. After you have filed, the DOR will provide you with a confirmation number for your records. You may pay for any balances due for the quarter by credit card, electronic funds transfer, or e-check.

Unemployment Insurance

As a New Jersey employer, you must establish an account with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD), which administers the state’s UI program. You register for unemployment insurance and make payments through the New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services (DOR) using the same process as for New Jersey Withholding Tax.

New Mexico

Withholding Tax

To make New Mexico Withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department (TRD) and have an active New Mexico Withholding Account Number. To register, please visit the TRD website. Withholding payments can be made online through the NM TAP portal.

  • Pay Online: Log in to the TRD’s TAP webpage to make your withholding payment.

Unemployment Insurance Tax

To make New Mexico Unemployment Insurance tax payments, you must be registered with the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions and have an active New Mexico UI Account Number.

There are two options for making unemployment insurance tax payments:

  • Pay Online: Log in to the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions website to make your unemployment insurance tax payment.

New York

Withholding Tax Payments

To make New York withholding tax payments, you must be registered for a New York Withholding Identification Number with the New York Department of Labor. The New York Withholding Identification Number will actually be the same number as your FEIN, but it must be registered with the New York Department of Labor. There are two ways to register:
- Register Online: Apply with the Department of Labor on their website.
- Register by Phone: Call the Department of Labor at (888) 899-8810 or (518) 457-4179.

Unemployment Insurance Contributions

To make New York Unemployment Insurance contributions, the New York Department of Labor will also issue you a New York Employer Registration Number. You can call the Department of Labor at (888) 899-8810 if you need help locating your Employer Registration Number.
Note: We do not currently support employers that are required to remit taxes via PrompTax.

If your aggregate tax withheld for the previous tax year was $100,000 or more, you’re likely required to remit tax via PrompTax.
If you voluntarily opted into using PrompTax, you may opt out of the PrompTax program through your Business Online Services account.
There are two options for making income tax and unemployment insurance payments:
- Pay Online: Access Web File to make withholding tax payments directly from your bank account.
- Pay by Mail: For New York State Income tax or New York City and Yonkers withholding tax, fill in the paper NYS-1 and write a check payable to NYS Income Tax. Mail your your check and the NYS-1 to:

North Carolina

Withholding Tax Payments

To make North Carolina withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the North Carolina Department of Revenue. For a checklist of registration requirements, visit their website.
To make withholding tax payments:
- Pay Online: Login and submit your payment through the North Carolina Department of Revenue by credit/debit MasterCard or Visa.

Unemployment Tax Payments

To make North Carolina unemployment tax payments, you must be registered with the Division of Employment Security and obtain a North Carolina Unemployment Tax Number online or mail Form NCUI604 to:

- Pay by Mail: Payment by mail can be done by filling out this form and mailing it to the address on the form.

North Dakota

Withholding Tax

To make North Dakota withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the North Dakota Office of State Tax Commissioner. There are two options for making withholding tax payments:

Unemployment Tax

To make North Dakota unemployment insurance tax payments, you must be registered with Job Service North Dakota. There are two options for making withholding tax payments:

  • Pay Online: Log in to UI EASY to make payment electronically.

  • Pay by ACH Credit: You must first register for the Job Service North Dakota EFT program. You can find more information in this document.

Oklahoma

Withholding Tax

To make Oklahoma withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the Oklahoma Tax Commission. To make withholding tax payments:

Ohio

Withholding Tax

To make Ohio Withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the Ohio Department of Taxation (DOT) and have an active Ohio Withholding Account number. You may register with the DOT online through the Ohio Business Gateway (OBG), by phone (1-888-405-4089, dial 2 to speak with an agent), or by mailing a completed Ohio IT 1 to the address listed on the form.

There are two options for making withholding tax payments:

  • Pay Online: State income tax withholding payments can be submitted through the Ohio Business Gateway (OBG).

  • Pay by Credit Card: Credit card payments may be made without registering for the Ohio Business Gateway portal. Payments can either be made over the phone by calling 1-800-272-9829, or by visiting Ohio’s third-party payment service and click on the State Payments link. Note, a service fee will be charged if you choose to use this method of payment.

School District Income Tax Withholding (SD-101)

To make Ohio School District Income Tax Withholding payments, you must be registered with the Ohio Department of Taxation (DOT) and have an active Ohio Withholding Account number. You may register with the DOT online through the Ohio Business Gateway (OBG), by phone (1-888-405-4089, dial 2 to speak with an agent), or by mailing a completed Ohio IT 1 to the address listed on the form. Note, your Ohio Withholding Account number will be the same as your School District Income Tax account number.

There are three options for making school district income tax payments:

  • Pay Online: School District income tax withholding payments can be submitted through the Ohio Business Gateway (OBG).

  • Pay by phone: Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling 1-800-272-9829, and entering Ohio’s Business Tax Jurisdiction Code 6447.

  • Pay by third-party service: Visit Ohio’s third-party payment service and click on the State Payments link. Select Ohio, then Ohio Business Taxes, followed by SD-101. Note, a service fee will be charged if you choose to use this method of payment.

Unemployment Tax

To make Ohio Unemployment tax payments, you must be registered with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and have an active Employer Account number. You may register with the DJFS online through the Employer Resource Information Center (ERIC) or by mailing a completed Report to Determine Liability (JFS-20100) to the address listed on the form. If you already have an Employer Account number, but need to apply for ERIC Web Access, you can do so here.

Unemployment tax payments must be made online:

  • Pay Online: Log in to your ERIC account to make Ohio unemployment tax payments.

Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) Municipal Tax

To make RITA Municipal Tax payments, you will need to register your business with the Regional Income Tax Agency. Applications can be submitted online, or by completing Form 48, and mailing it to the address listed on the form.

There are three options for making RITA Municipal tax payments:

  • Pay Online: Log into the MyAccount website to submit payments from your bank account. New users will need to click the Create UserID button.

  • Pay by Phone: Payments can be made over the phone by calling the RITA Customer Service Department at 1-800-860-7482.

  • Pay in person: Payments can be made in person at any RITA location. Offices and hours of operation can be found by visiting the Taxpayer Assistance page on the RITA website.

City of Columbus Employer’s Semi-Monthly/Monthly Income Tax

To make a City of Columbus Income Tax payment, you will need a City tax account and a PIN assigned by the city. To obtain this information, please contact the Columbus Income Tax Division at 614-645-7370.

There are two options for making City of Columbus income tax payments:

  • Pay by ACH Debit: Log into the City of Columbus online payment portal using your City tax ID and PIN. Make payments by entering your bank account information

  • Pay by ACH Credit: Before you can submit a payment by ACH Credit, you will need to complete an ACH Credit Registration Form. Once registered, you will receive additional instructions on how to proceed with this payment method.

  • Pay by Credit or Debit Card: At this time, only Visa and MasterCards are the only acceptable credit and debit cards. Log into the City of Columbus online payment portal using your City tax ID and PIN. Make payments by entering your card information. Note, all credit and debit cards will be charged a service fee.

Oregon

Withholding Tax Payments

To make Oregon state withholding tax payments, you’ll need to create a Oregon Revenue Online account with the Oregon Department of Revenue(DOR). In order to create an account, you will need an email address, Federal Employer Identification Number, Social Security Number and Business Identification number (BIN) or account ID.

  • Pay Online: To make tax withholding payments, log into your Oregon Revenue Online Account. Choose to pay directly from your bank account or by credit card, service provider fees may apply. If you are paying via an EFT, please call the EFT Help/Message Line at 503-947-2017 or visit the EFT Questions and Answers page.

  • Pay by Mail: Send all filings with payments or deposit to:Oregon Department of Revenue PO Box 14800 Salem, OR 97309-0920.

Oregon Unemployment Tax Payments

To make Oregon state unemployment insurance payments, you must be registered with the Oregon Department of Revenue. In addition to the Oregon Combined Payroll Tax report, employers subject to the Unemployment Insurance tax must report employee wage detail information. Reports are due by the last day of the month following the end of each calendar quarter (ie. April, July, October, December).

  • Pay Online: To make tax withholding payments, log into your Oregon Revenue Online Account here. It will prompt you on how to make an Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment.   • Pay by Mail: Send all payments directly to the Oregon Department of Revenue, PO Box 14800, Salem OR 97309-0920

Pennsylvania

Withholding Tax

To make Pennsylvania withholding tax payments, you must be registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue (DOR) [eTIDES website]9https://www.etides.state.pa.us/ESignature/Account/LogOn), and a Federal Identification Number.

  • Pay Online: Pay through the DOR eTIDES to e-file and pay online.

  • Pay by Phone: Access PA Business Tax e-Services TeleFile here.

  • Pay by Phone:ONLY IF ELIGIBLE Download Form PA-501, Employer Deposit Statement of Withholding Tax from the e-TIDES system.

Unemployment Insurance
