    • Sobre el hardware de l’Square Kiosk

    El Hardware de l’Square Kiosk és una unitat versàtil per a iPad que es pot penjar fàcilment a una paret, instal·lar en un taulell o bé col·locar on vulguis amb un peu compatible amb suports VESA. Amb els lectors de targetes sense contacte i amb xip incorporats, es poden processar pagaments apropant o inserint una targeta, així com amb aplicacions de pagament a través de dispositius mòbils com Apple Pay i Google Pay. 

    Quan l’Square Kiosk es combina amb l’aplicació de l’Square Kiosk, disposes d’una estació d’autoservei que permet als clients fer comandes i completar el procés de pagament pel seu compte. 

    El hardware de l’Square Kiosk també pot funcionar com un dispositiu TPV: ocupa poc espai i funciona amb qualsevol aplicació de TPV de Square sense haver-se de subscriure a l’aplicació de l’Square Kiosk. Aquesta opció és ideal per a negocis amb espais petits o estrets que necessiten instal·lar el dispositiu TPV a una paret.

    Abans de començar

    El hardware de l’Square Kiosk és compatible amb les aplicacions de Square següents:

    Nota: Només l’aplicació de l’Square Kiosk permet oferir la funció d’autoservei als comensals. 

    L’Square Kiosk té un connector USB-C per a iPad i és compatible amb aquests models:

    • iPad (10a generació)

    • iPad Pro d’11 polzades (1a, 2a, 3a i 4a generació)

    • iPad Air (4a i 5a generació)

    • iPad Air d’11 polzades (M2)

    El hardware de l’Square Kiosk té quatre opcions d’instal·lació diferents per adaptar-se al teu negoci:

    • Suport en angle per a la paret 

    • Suport pla per a la paret

    • Suport de taulell

    • Suport VESA


    Per crear un quiosc d’autoservei, necessitaràs l’aplicació i el Hardware de l’Square Kiosk, un iPad compatible i un dispositiu TPV complementari. Consulta les Especificacions tècniques de l’Square Kiosk per a més informació sobre el que trobaràs dins la caixa, les dimensions, la connectivitat i molt més.

    Si necessites més seguretat i que el quiosc s’adapti encara més al teu negoci, pots comprar un Cable d’extensió USB-C de 5,5 polzades per a l’Square Kiosk a la Botiga de Square. Aquest cable s’endolla directament a l’Square Kiosk perquè puguis desendollar i emmagatzemar el dispositiu sense haver de treure el suport.

    Square Kiosk hardware combined with the Square Kiosk app is designed as a customer-facing order station only. It requires a companion Point of Sale device for you to accept orders, print order tickets, and accept cash sales. Only one companion Point of Sale device is needed, regardless if you have multiple Square Kiosks.

    Instruccions per instal·lar el hardware de l’Square Kiosk

    Angled wall mount

    Square Kiosk Angled Wall Mount The angled wall mount positions the screen at an upward angle toward staff and customers. Download the visual guide here.

    1. Pick a spot on your wall: Hold up Square Kiosk against the wall to find your preferred height. Avoid placing over studs.
    2. Position the angled bracket: Level the bracket on the wall, then mark the position of the screw holes with a pencil.
    3. Drill the holes where you just marked: For drywall installation, use the included drywall drill bit.
    4. Screw the angled bracket into the wall: Insert the wall anchors into the drill holes. Position the angled bracket, then insert the wall screws into the front and screw in, making sure the bracket is level as you fully tighten.
    5. Plug the hub into Square Kiosk: Starting from the bottom of the bracket, thread the hub’s USB-C cable through the pass-through hole and into the connector on the back of Square Kiosk.
    6. Place Square Kiosk into the bracket: Tighten the center mounting screw until you cannot see any of the red sidewall on the screw. Make sure it is secure and does not wiggle.
    7. Plug in Square Kiosk: Plug the power adapter’s USB-C cable into the hub, then plug one end of the power adapter cable into the power adapter and the other into an outlet.
    8. Slide your iPad in and secure it: Dock your iPad to the connector and make sure the security latch clicks. Optional: To further secure your iPad, use a small Phillips screwdriver to attach the security screw to the side of Square Kiosk.

    Flat wall mount

    Square Kiosk Flat Wall Mount

    The flat wall mount has a slim, space-saving profile that sits flat against the wall. Download the visual guide here.

    1. Pick a spot on your wall: Hold up Square Kiosk against the wall to find your preferred height. Avoid placing over studs.
    2. Position the flat bracket: Level the bracket on the wall, then mark the position of the screw holes with a pencil.
    3. Drill the holes where you just marked: For drywall installation, use the included drywall drill bit.
    4. Screw the flat bracket into the wall: Insert the wall anchors into the drill holes. Position the flat bracket, then insert the wall screws into the front and screw in, making sure the bracket is level as you fully tighten.
    5. Plug the hub into Square Kiosk: Press the hub’s USB-C cable into the cable channel on the back of Square Kiosk. Check that there is no interference between the cable and the mount screw.
    6. Place Square Kiosk into the bracket: Tighten the center mounting screw until you cannot see any of the red sidewall on the screw. Make sure it is secure and does not wiggle.
    7. Plug in Square Kiosk: Plug the power adapter’s USB-C cable into the hub, then plug one end of the power adapter cable into the power adapter and the other into an outlet.
    8. Slide your iPad in and secure it: Dock your iPad to the connector and make sure the security latch clicks. Optional: To further secure your iPad, use a small Phillips screwdriver to attach the security screw to the side of Square Kiosk.

    Countertop mount

    Square Kiosk Countertop Mount

    The countertop mount creates a low-profile countertop setup that angles the screen upwards. Download the visual guide here.

    1. Pick a spot on your counter: With the angled bracket facing you, pass the power adapter cable through the hole.
    2. Plug the hub into Square Kiosk: Make sure the hub’s USB-C cable is firmly pushed in.
    3. Place Square Kiosk into the bracket: Tighten the center mounting screw until you cannot see any of the red sidewall on the screw. Make sure it is secure and does not wiggle.
    4. Plug in Square Kiosk: Plug the power adapter’s USB-C cable into the hub, then plug one end of the power adapter cable into the power adapter and the other into an outlet.
    5. Slide your iPad in: Dock your iPad to the connector and make sure the security latch clicks.
    6. Optional: Secure your iPad: Using a small Phillips screwdriver, attach the security screw to the side of Square Kiosk to further secure your iPad.

    VESA mount

    Square Kiosk VESA Mount Pedestal

    The VESA mount uses any 100mm x 100mm VESA mount to attach a standalone pedestal, swing arm, or other setup option. Download the visual guide here.

    1. Plug the hub into Square Kiosk: Decide which side you want the hub’s USB-C cable to exit, then slot it into the cable channel, or if VESA mount allows, run the cable through the VESA mount.
    2. Screw Square Kiosk onto the VESA plate: Align the 100mm x 100mm VESA plate screw holes with the threads on the back of Square Kiosk and screw on.
    3. Plug in Square Kiosk: Plug the power adapter’s USB-C cable into the hub, then plug one end of the power adapter cable into the power adapter and the other into an outlet.
    4. Slide your iPad in and secure it: Dock your iPad to the connector and make sure the security latch clicks.
    5. Optional: Secure your iPad Using a small Phillips screwdriver, attach the security screw to the side of Square Kiosk to further secure your iPad.

    Connecta accessoris a l’Square Kiosk

    Fes servir l’Square Kiosk com a estació per a les comandes d’autoservei

    Si fas servir el hardware de l’Square Kiosk amb l’aplicació corresponent, no podràs connectar-lo a accessoris com ara lectors de codis de barres i impressores de rebuts mitjançant USB, wifi, Ethernet o Bluetooth. No obstant això, sí que podràs imprimir els comprovants de les comandes que els clients facin al quiosc a través dels dispositius TPV que tinguis connectats a les impressores de la cuina. Només cal un dispositiu TPV complementari, independentment de si disposes de diversos Square Kiosks.

    Imprimeix les comandes per a la cuina a través de l’Square Kiosk

    Per enviar les comandes de l’Square Kiosk a la impressora de la cuina a través del TPV:

    1. Des del TPV, ves a Més > Configuració > Hardware > Impressores.
    2. Selecciona el Perfil d’impressió i activa l’opció Comprovants de les comandes online i de l’Square Kiosk.

    Nota: Si imprimeixes per categoria, assegura’t que les que estiguin activades per a l’Square Kiosk també estiguin seleccionades al perfil d’impressió.

    Aquestes comandes per a cuina s’imprimiran a través de la configuració de la impressora mitjançant el TPV, juntament amb qualsevol altra comanda de cuina creada des d’un TPV.

    Fes servir l’Square Kiosk com a TPV:

    Si fas servir el hardware de l’Square Kiosk amb altres aplicacions de Square (excepte l’aplicació de l’Square Kiosk), podràs connectar-lo a accessoris USB, wifi, Ethernet o Bluetooth. Dona una ullada a les impressores, caixes d’efectiu, lectors de codis de barres i altres accessoris compatibles amb l’Square Kiosk:

    1. Ves a la Pàgina de compatibilitat de Square per a accessoris.
    2. Fes clic a un accessori.
    3. Fes clic al menú desplegable Selecciona el hardware de Square i tria l’Square Kiosk.
    4. Se’t mostrarà una llista d’accessoris compatibles amb l’Square Kiosk.
