Manage Your Customer Profile with Square Appointments

If you book an appointment with a Square seller, you’ll have access to your own Customer Profile to help you manage your calendar. You can review your upcoming and past appointment details – including services, staff, location, date and time.

Your Customer Profile is also a great way to quickly book new appointments with your favourite businesses. Once you have a profile, you can sign in with your phone number to quickly select services and staff – just enter the security code sent via text message so we can confirm it’s you.

Note: You will only be able to view your past and upcoming appointments with one Square seller at a time.

Sign In to Your Customer Profile

Once you book an appointment with a seller, you can access your Customer Profile on their booking site.

To sign in to your Customer Account:

  1. Head to the Square Appointments seller’s online booking site.

  2. Select Sign In. You can also access your profile by entering your phone number during the booking flow.

  3. Enter the security code sent to your phone.

  4. Select Sign In one more time.

Once you sign in to your account, you’ll see your initials on the top right. You can view your contact information, as well as a list of your past and upcoming appointments.

If you need to update your information, please contact the Square seller. Once they change your account information on their end, your Customer Account will automatically update.

Book an Appointment

To use your Customer Profile during the online booking flow:

  1. Head to the Square seller’s online booking site.

  2. Select one or multiple services, available staff, date and time of the appointment.

  3. Select Sign In or enter your cell phone number from the customer details page.

  4. You’ll receive a confirmation text with a security code > enter the code.

  5. If the Square Appointments seller requires prepayment, enter your card information. You can also add a note to communicate any preferences.

  6. Tap Book Appointment.

Use Card on File

You can save a card to your Customer Profile to expedite your booking and checkout flow. If a Square seller requires appointment prepayment or holding your card for No-Show Protection, you can select your saved card without entering your card information each time you book an appointment.

Add Card During Booking Flow

To add your card during the booking flow:

  1. Head to the Square seller’s online booking site.

  2. Select one or multiple services, available staff, date and time of the appointment.

  3. Select Sign In or enter your cell phone number from the client details page.

  4. You’ll receive a confirmation text with a security code > enter the code.

  5. If the Square Appointments seller requires prepayment, enter your debit, credit or gift card information. You can save your card information with this seller for future booking – just click I authorize.

  6. Once you select Book Appointment, your card information will be saved to your Customer Account.

Keep in mind, when you save your card information you’re authorizing the Square seller to charge your card on file for future transactions.

Note: To use a gift card, it must cover the total due amount at the appointment booking.

Save Card from Your Profile

You can also add your card on file directly from your profile. When a seller settles your payment for a booked appointment, rather than swiping or dipping your card, they charge your card on file.

To get started:

  1. Head to the seller’s online booking site > Sign In.

  2. Enter your mobile phone number and then the security code sent via text message to access your account.

  3. If this is your first time using your Customer Account profile, enter your first name, surname and email to complete your sign-up. Click Update Account.

  4. Once you’re logged in, click on View my profile. Under Cards on File, select Add Card.

  5. Enter your card information > Add Card.

Update Your Card

You can update your card on file at any time. There is no way to edit your existing card, but if you need to update it, just remove your current card on file and add it again with the updated information.

  1. From your Customer Account profile, just head to the Cards on File section and click the X next to your saved card.

  2. Once you confirm by selecting Delete, your card will be removed.

  3. Enter your updated card information, and save.

Edit Profile Information

In order to update your Customer Account information, you’ll need to contact the Square seller you booked the appointment with.

Sign Out of Your Customer Account

To sign out of your Customer Account:

  1. From the seller’s booking site, click Sign Out on the top right.
