Troubleshoot menus on your Square Online site
If your menu and/or menu groups do not appear at all on your Square Online Ordering site as expected, this could be caused by a few scenarios such as specific to the Menu dashboard experience.

There is not a way to rearrange top level menus at this time, only menu groups.
Troubleshoot duplicate categories on the live site
If you are experiencing unexplained duplicate categories appearing on your live site, there could be some carryover from the previous ‘Categories’ settings affecting your site. To resolve this:
Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Online > Edit Your Site.
Go to the Ordering page.
Click the ‘gear’ icon to switch between the page template back to the ‘Shop All’ layout.
Once switched, go back to your Square Dashboard and to Items & services > Items > Categories.
Select any category where visibility on the Square Online site is still set to visible and then hide them.
Go back to the Site Editor and switch your ‘Shop All’ page back to the previous ‘Order Online’ layout.
Troubleshoot category images aren't being displayed on the live site
If images for your categories are no longer appearing on your Square Online site, this may be because the original category images (from the Category dashboard) don't sync to the Menus experience. You will need to re-add their images to each different category for it to reappear on the live site. To resolve this:
Sign in to Square Dashboard and go to Items & services > Menus.
Select any menu group where there is no category image.
On the ‘Edit menu group’ page, drag an image, upload, or browse image library.
Click Save.
Troubleshoot items not appearing on the order online page
There are a few setup issues specific to the Menus dashboard that could cause this on top of all the other normal things that can affect item visibility. Follow these instructions in sequential order:
Under Categorisation, ensure items assigned to a menu/menu group.
Check that the desired menu(s) have been enabled for your Square Online site(s).
Check that the desired menu(s) have been enabled to the same location(s) where orders will be fulfilled from.
