Use a Custom Subdomain with Square Online
If you already own a custom domain, and want to use a separate web address created from that custom domain, then you can create a custom subdomain for your Square Online site. For example, if your custom domain name is mybusiness.com, then your custom subdomain could be something like store.mybusiness.com.

Domain Hosted by Current Square Account
If the domain name was purchased through your current Square account:
Go to your Square Online Overview page > Website > General Settings.
Under Site Address, select Customise.
Select Use a domain I own elsewhere, and enter your preferred subdomain name (e.g. store.mybusiness.com).
Choose the Connect... option, and select the Connect button.
Note the Square IP Address in the POINTS TO column.
Go to your Square Online site editor, and Publish your site to see the change live.
If you registered your domain name through Square Online, then you don't need to do anything further. The domain name is now set up with the correct IP address, and an A record that allows you to create subdomains easily. Your subdomain should start working shortly after you publish your website.
Domain Hosted by Different Square Account
If the domain name was purchased through a different Square account:
Log in to the Square Online account that has the domain name in question.
Select the domain name in question.
Select Edit in the DNS RECORDS section.
On the edit screen, select +Add Record to add a new row at the bottom.
Choose A Record in the Type menu.
In the Host box, type the subdomain you want to use (don’t enter the full link). For example, if your full subdomain address is store.mybusiness.com, the you would enter "store" in the box.
In the Points to box, paste in the IP address from the steps above.
Select Save when finished, and Publish your site from the Square Online site editor.
Domain Hosted by Third Party
If your domain is registered somewhere else, log in to that account and create an A Record that points to the IP address you noted before. The process should be similar to the steps outlined above, but each web host has its own set of instructions for creating a subdomain. If you aren’t sure what to do, you can ask the support team at your domain host, or check out these guides from some of the most popular hosts:
Note: Changes to domain settings can take up to 24–48 hours to begin working. If the new subdomain isn’t working right away, give it some time and check again. Most changes take effect within a short time.
