Square presents Enchanté by Daniel Ricciardo "Backyard Grand Prix" at Melbourne pop-up

Mar 03, 2026

Following a sold-out Australian debut, Enchanté and Formula 1 icon Daniel Ricciardo return to Melbourne on Wednesday March 4th to celebrate the release of their newest Australian collection, Backyard Grand Prix, with a four-day pop-up presented by Square.

Running from Wednesday 4 March to Saturday 7 March at 250–252 High Street, Windsor, the pop-up invites consumers into Enchanté’s world through a bold, fashion-forward retail experience, allowing them to get their hands on the newest collection early ahead of its official online release on Monday, March 10th. Also marking the first time that Australian consumers who are unable to attend in person can shop the collection online, following last year’s sell-out IRL activation which saw fans lining down the block to get their hands on pieces.

Over the past three years, Enchanté has established itself at the intersection of culture and motorsport, guided by three defining pillars: speed, approachability and style. Each collection channels Ricciardo’s irreverent attitude and infectious sense of joy; the spirit of the ‘Elegant Bandit’, translated through elevated everyday pieces.

The Backyard Grand Prix collection centres on the idea of forming an F1 team with your closest mates, a backyard garage buzzing with humour, optimism and creative energy. From the Golden Three Crewneck to the Team Rugby, the collection captures the feeling of banding together as underdogs: running on cylinders of happiness, ready to hit the grid.

“This collection is about remembering why you fell in love with it all in the first place,” said Ricciardo.

“Before the lights, before the pressure, it was just mates, a garage, big dreams and having a go. Backyard Grand Prix is that feeling bottled up. The designs are playful, optimistic, and doesn’t take themselves too seriously, which is exactly how I want Enchanté to feel.”

Founded by Ricciardo, Enchanté reflects the passion woven into the fabric of automotive culture, a brand rooted in the belief that the road ahead can take you somewhere special, as long as you never forget where you came from. While Ricciardo’s own journey has taken him from kart tracks in Australia to the podium in Monaco, Enchanté is intentionally not traditional driver merchandise. Instead, it exists as a fashion label with its own identity, creative direction and long-term vision, continuing to grow independently of his racing career.

The Melbourne pop-up blends vintage racing-inspired graphics, uniting motorsport nostalgia with contemporary streetwear sensibility while also capturing the irreverent energy of grassroots racing culture. It follows Enchanté’s strong start to the 2026 calendar, including a successful collaboration with Ford Racing and a Daytona 500 capsule, and marks an important moment as the brand continues to deepen its relationship with motorsport through a distinctly fashion-led lens.

Enchanté chose to partner with Square to ensure the pop-up runs as seamlessly as the brand presents. With fast, reliable hardware and an integrated system that connects payments and inventory in real time, Square gives the team clarity and control during high-demand drops. The result is a smooth retail experience that keeps the focus on the product, the space and the community.
