Set up new order email notifications with Square Online

    Set up new order email notifications to control how and where your team gets notified about new Square Online orders. You can update your settings in Square Online to send notifications to as many as three different emails per location. You can also completely disable notifications if you prefer not to receive any.

    Before you begin

    To manage Square Online order notifications, you need to create a Square Online site. Learn how to set up your Square Online website.

    You have two options for setting up email notifications for Square Online orders from your Square Dashboard:

    • Send orders from all locations to the same email(s): All locations will receive order emails to the same email address(es). Enter up to three email addresses separated by commas.

    • Send to custom email addresses by location: Each location will receive order emails to different email address(es).

    Depending on your email provider, notifications will sometimes filter to your spam folder. Double check your spam folder and add the following email addresses to your contacts:

    • hello@weebly.com

    • noreply@weebly.com

    • no-reply@weebly.com

    • hello@emails.weebly.com

    • noreply@promote.weebly.com

    • no-reply@editmysite.com

    Send Square Online order notifications to different emails

    1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Sales channels > Online > Settings or Shared Settings.

    2. Click Notifications.

    3. Click Set up to enable New order emails

    4. Select your location option:

      • If you select Send orders from all locations to the same email(s), you can enter up to three email addresses separated by commas.

      • If you select Send to custom email addresses by location, toggle ON Notifications and enter up to three email addresses separated by commas.

    5. Click Save.

    6. You will receive an email for each new order to the email address(es) you added.

    You can update your new order email preferences from the Notifications page by clicking Edit.

    Disable new order emails

    You can disable new order emails or notifications for specific locations.

    1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and click Sales channels > Online > Settings or Shared Settings.

    2. Click Notifications.

      • To disable new order emails for all locations, toggle OFF New order emails.

      • To disable new order emails for specific locations, click View/edit additional locations > toggle OFF Notifications next to your location(s) > Save.
